How do I log into my UNCSA Canvas account?

UNCSA Faculty, Staff, and Students:
  1. Canvas at UNCSA is single sign-on for faculty, staff, and students. When you reset your UNCSA password, it will automatically update for this application.
  2. Visit https://uncsa.instructure.com/login/saml to sign into Canvas.
  3. Enter your full UNCSA email address followed by your current UNCSA password.
  4. Your Canvas dashboard should populate.
     
Parents who have been provided Canvas proxy:
  1. Visit https://www.uncsa.edu/mysa/canvas/canvas.aspx
  2. Click on the link "Login here" under the heading "Parents and others".
  3. Your Canvas username is your child's "96" number plus the first part of the email address that was provided during proxy setup. 
  4. First part of the email address refers to all the characters that exist before the "@" symbol in the email address.
  5. If you have never logged on before, of if you forgot your password, click the "Activate / Reset Password" link on the login page.
  6. Then on the next screen type your Canvas username in the box and then click the "Request Password" button.
  7. The system will then send you an email message with instructions on how to reset your password.
