How do I install the Argos desktop app?

Install the Argos desktop app (Evisions Application Launcher)
  1. Visit https://evisionprod-ncsa.uncecs.edu/ using Google Chrome.
  2. Sign in with your UNCSA username and password (single sign-on).

     
  3. Click the “Argos” button.
  4. Click on “download & install the Evisions Application Launcher”.

     
  5. Click “Yes” to allow the app to make changes to this device.

     
  6. Complete the Evisions Application Launcher Setup Wizard:
  7. Select the option “I accept the agreement”.
  8. Click the “Next” button.

     
  9. Click the “Install” button.
  10. Click the “Finish” button.
  11. After the installation completes, click the "Argos" button once again.
  12. Click on the "Open Evisions Application Launcher" from the dialog box that generates.

     
  13. The Argos app will download and appear on the Windows taskbar.
  14. Pin the Argos desktop app to the taskbar by right clicking on the app and selecting "Pin to Taskbar"
    • Failure to pin the Argos app to the taskbar will require you to complete steps 10 and 11 each time you need to access Argos.
  15. When launching the Argos desktop app, you will be required to sign in by entering your UNCSA username and password.

     
  16. The application should open revealing a dashboard, folders, and options tailored to your access.
