Microsoft Visio

Overview:
Microsoft Visio makes it easy and intuitive to create flowcharts, diagrams, org charts, floor plans, engineering designs, and more, using modern shapes and templates with the familiar Office experience.
  • All UNCSA accounts have access to an online-only version with reduced functionality.
  • The online-only Visio version will run on Windows and Mac operating systems.
  • To access Visio online, log into https://office.com using your UNCSA email address and password.
Microsoft Visio Desktop Application:
  • The Visio desktop application provides full functionality and will only function on Windows.
  • The desktop is available for department purchase for business use by faculty and staff. 
  • To purchase the Visio desktop app, submit a ticket using the IT Purchases and Approvals for Hardware and Software service.
  • Once the desktop app has been purchased, Technology Support will schedule a time with you to install it on your school issued computer.
