UNCSA Locked Account

Overview:

UNCSA accounts generally lock as a result of attempting to sign in with the incorrect password more than 3 consecutive times, not updating your UNCSA password on all your mobile devices that are connected to the UNCSA-WIFI network (smart phones, tablets, etc.), and/or when your UNCSA account is suspected of being compromised.

Troubleshooting:
  • Verify you are using the correct password to log into a university owned device or account.
  • If you forgot your UNCSA password or need to update it, reset it at https://passwordreset.microsoftonline.com.
  • Verify you have updated your password on all of your devices that are connected to the UNCSA-WIFI network (smart phones, tablets, laptops). You may need to "forget" the UNCSA-WIFI network in order to be prompted to re-enter your credentials.
  • If your account is suspected of being compromised or your account is still locked after resetting your password, you will need to contact Technology Support at 336-770-3300 and provide additional information to have it unlocked.
